eXtreme Burner PIC is a High Quality but low cost USB port based programmer for the popular PIC18F and PIC16F series MCUs (from Microchip Inc. ). The main advantage of eXtreme Burner PIC over other programmer is the USB connectivity. These days Laptops are becoming popular among students and professionals. Modern Laptops and even desktops does not have any legacy ports like Parallel and Serial Ports and therefore many device programmers cannot be used with them. So solve these problem we have designed a programmer that is far ahead of these programmers and perfectly fits in modern days

Thanks to the USB Connectivity, our eXtreme Burner PIC can easily be used with all modern Laptops and Desktops. A Windows Based user friendly GUI programmer software make burning chips a pleasant experience. Add to all these the "dual mode" operation of programmer. The programmer can be used in both traditional programming (ZIF socket based) mode and Modern ICSP mode.

You can program the target chip by placing it in the ZIF socket or Connect the programmer to your target board via ISP cables. In the latter case you don't have to remove the chip each time from the target application for programming. The chip can be programmer right in its target by just connecting it to the programmer.

    I brought a "eXtreme Burner PIC" usb programmer One month ago. There is not present any Software CD or DVD. I downloaded the Setup software from your site which is given (http://extremeelectronics.co.in/downloads/eXtremeBurnerPIC/eXtremeBurnerPICSetup.exe). After the installation of software and the driver an error massage is showing that "USB Device Not Recognized".I am using OS Windows 7 Home Edition.
