if g-select pin is left unconnected, the internal pull down resistor will make this pin 0 and the device will operate on 1.5g range.
NOTE:
The accelerometer chip used in this module works on a voltage range of 2.2v to 3.6v and to make it easy to interface it with 5v systems we have provided a on board 5v to 3.3v regulator chip. So you can easily power up this module from a 5v source as available from many development board.
